Chapter Five: Stripped of Title, Torn Hearts

Apollo's world came crashing down around him, the moment word got out about his scandalous relationship with Hades. The once revered god of music and light found himself stripped of his title, cast aside by society and shunned by the other Olympian deities. Apollo's heartache was only magnified by the thought of losing Hades, his beloved.

Banished from Mount Olympus, Apollo had no place to seek solace, no sanctuary to call his own. With nowhere else to turn, he found himself seeking refuge in the depths of the underworld - Hades' realm. Despite the whirlwind of chaos that surrounded them, Hades assured Apollo that he would be right there beside him, no matter what.

Days turned into nights as Apollo and Hades stayed together in the underworld. The dimly lit caverns echoed their laughter and whispered secrets as their love grew stronger with each passing moment. Surrounded by shadows, they discovered solace in each other's arms.

But despite the comforting embrace and endless assurance from Hades, doubt began to settle deep within Apollo's heart. He couldn't help but wonder whether he was becoming a burden to Hades; someone who tarnished his reputation and put him at odds with the entire pantheon.

Apollo's anguish grew day by day as he watched Hades struggle under the weight of the world's disapproval. It pained him to think that he might be causing more harm than good. With a heavy heart and wavering determination, Apollo made a decision that would break both their souls.

One gloomy evening in the depths of Tartarus, Apollo mustered up all his strength and pulled away from Hades' loving grasp. Tears welled up in his eyes as he struggled to voice the words that had been haunting him for days.

"Hades... my love," Apollo choked on every syllable, his voice a mere whisper as he fought against the heart-wrenching ache deep within his chest. "I... I cannot bear to see you suffer any longer because of me. I believe it's best if I were to leave, to spare you from any further hardships."

Hades' eyes widened in shock, his heart breaking at the thought of losing Apollo. Clutching onto him tightly, he pleaded, "No, Apollo! Please don't leave. You are not a burden to me – you are my everything! I would rather face the wrath of the world than be without you by my side."

Tears streamed down Apollo's face as he rested his forehead against Hades', feeling the warmth radiating from their intertwined souls. The conflict within him intensified, torn between his love for Hades and the fear that he was causing more harm than good.

"I love you more than words can express, Hades," Apollo sobbed, each word laden with agony. "But I cannot bear seeing you go through all this pain because of me... Because of our forbidden love."

Hades pressed his lips gently against Apollo's trembling ones, their love pouring into that final kiss filled with bittersweet sorrow. "Apollo," Hades murmured softly against his lover's lips, "I will not let you leave. Together we shall face whatever comes our way, no matter how challenging it may be."

In the midnight Apollo laying beside Hades, caressing his chest gently while Hades is in deep sleep. Apollo couldn't sleep, he felt sleepless has Hades future haunted him, and so he decided to leave.
Apollo gave his final kiss to Hades and whispered into his ears gently saying" my dear Hades I know that leaving you might make you sad but.." Apollo's tears dropped onto Hades cheek with a silent sob.

Without completing his words Apollo turned around and went away with his things, leaving behind the whirlpool of memories for Hades.
